Friends of the Royal United Hospitals 

Our volunteers make a unique and valuable contribution to the hospital environment and are key to making the RUH a more welcoming, friendly space for patients, carers,  visitors and staff. There are over 20 different volunteering roles that range from helping direct and assist visitors arriving at the hospital, to serving teas on wards, helping in our Café@B18 and the RUH Shop, as well as gardening around the RUH Estate. While it is important to provide patients a better experience, it matters to us and the RUH that
