Weston Community Fund 

A new way to help each other in the Weston and Newbridge area

The Weston Community Fund seeks to provide much-needed support for individuals and families living in the Weston and Newbridge area of Bath. The Fund is administered by Citizens Advice through their normal donation system.

Citizens Advice operate a weekly service at Weston Hub where they help local people to find solutions to their legal and financial issues. In some cases people require new or replacement equipment in their homes, and can demonstrate that they are unable to afford it themselves.  The Fund can then be used to purchase this equipment.  Purchases are made by Citizens Advice, and the money is not given in cash.

You are invited to contribute to the Fund, to help support local people in this way. This could for example be 

• by “passing on” your Winter Fuel Allowance, if you receive this from the government.  
• Or it could be as part of your normal charitable giving plan. 
• Or perhaps as a one-off gift, to support your neighbours.
